Patients care is given by qualified and trained nurses. Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) is conducted thrice in a week in different batches to ensure all nurses are periodically trained for all procedures. Moreover, continuing Medical Education (CME) in urology nursing is conducted every 4 months, this includes enrollment of nurses from urology units of different hospitals in the state. |

Areas of Specialized care: |

1. Post-operative patients:
Special attention and care are given to all post-operative patients by nurses trained in post-operative care. |

2. Clean Intermittent Catherization (CIC):
Specialist nurses train patients self catheterization after performing a thorough counseling
|
|
3. Patient training:
Patients are trained about the care of tubes at home by the nurses. Patients are also given instruction notes with emergency contact number. |
|
4. Urology OT Nurses: Our Operation Theater nurses are able to assist all kinds of urologic cares including laparoscopic surgeries. |
