There is a large unmet need in Paediatric Nephrology in India. Very few children with renal problems actually consult a Paediatric Nephrologist. He intends to develop Paediatric Nephrology as a specialty at NU Hospital so that in conjunction with the Paediatric-Urology team, the vast unmet need in these fields can be addressed.

Dr. Nitin is a life member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics & Indian Society of Paediatric Nephrology & a member of the International Paediatric Nephrology Association.
