Dr. Vinod Kumar graduated from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. He further did his Master in Surgery (MS) from the same institute. He fine-tuned his surgical skills by working as a resident in St John’s Medical college, Bangalore. He later completed DNB Urology from NU hospitals Bangalore and is presently a consultant urologist at NU hospitals.

He has presented various research and clinical papers at National and International podiums. He has participated in and conducted various workshops. He has published indexed articles in reputed journal with an Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) 0000-0001-7228-7416. Though he treats most of the cases in General Urology, he is particularly involved in the management of diseases under the following subspeciality: Female urology (Urogynaecology), Neurourology, Endourology and Uro-oncology.
